Biography
Rarely has a band that began its march to success come as far as AUDIOMOUTH has in such a short time. While AUDIOMOUTH was founded by bassist Rudy Flores in 2008, it was upon leaving Florida and returning to San Antonio that all the right pieces of the puzzle were becoming a reality.
AM’s first show was at Freeman Coliseum in 2009 with national recording artist Flyleaf on the bill. They hit the road in earnest and realized something truly special was happening. The band was quickly catapulted to the top with their high-energy shows and giving their fans everything they have on and off stage. That simple concept has made them a rock favorite and continues to pay dividends. Touring Regimen They have played over 500 shows since 2008, picking up fans, filling up venues throughout Texas and beyond. AUDIOMOUTH (AM) has supported and performed with national recording artists Scott Stapp of Creed, Drowning Pool, Hinder, Saving Abel, Seven Mary Three, Black Stone Cherry, Eddie Money, Sick Puppies, and Black Stone Cherry. The band also hosted and performed with the 54th Annual Grammy Awards featured performers Almost Kings in 2011. Other artists they were asked to perform with include Cinderella, Powerman 5000, and Queensryche. They've rocked venues such as House of Blues, Scout Bar, Sunken Gardens Theater and the AT&T Center. They performed as the featured band for the NBA, San Antonio Spurs and were chosen as the Valero Alamo Bowl band for the 5 annual performances. In 2011, AM was selected to be the featured band on the Miller Lite/99.5 KISS main stage for the Fiesta Oyster Bake Festival. Oyster Bake Festival attracts over 80,000 attendees each year. In 2012, AM performed shows with Drowning Pool and Burn Halo and rocked the stage with rock recording artists Trapt and Soul Asylum in 2013. Another show on the tour was added with rock favorites Drowning Pool in December 2013. In 2014, legendary rock star and Grammy Award winner Scott Stapp of Creed invited the band to join him on stage as direct support on the first leg of his "Proof of Life" world tour. |
